2026 Halloween Pet Parade

It’s that time of year again—R.A.D.A.R.’s Halloween Pet Parade is back and better than ever! Join us for a howlin’ good time as we gather costumed pups, rescue alumni, supporters, and spooky friends for a day full of fun, fur, and festivities.

Whether your dog is a taco, a dinosaur, or a tiny pumpkin with attitude—this is their moment to strut!

Event Details

Date: Saturday, October 26, 2025

Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Location: Downtown Southern Pines – Parade kicks off at the park and winds through the historic district

Entry: FREE (donations encouraged!)

Costumes optional—but highly encouraged. Let’s make it a paws-itively spooky good time.

What to Expect

  • Costume Contest – Prizes for Best Dog Costume, Best Dog + Human Duo, and Silliest Strut
  • Pet & Family Parade – Leash up and show off your boo-tiful best
  • Vendor Market – Shop local pet goods, Halloween treats, and R.A.D.A.R. merch
  • Photo Ops & Pup Cups – Because every ghoul deserves a snack and a selfie
  • Meet Adoptable Dogs – Some of our cutest recruits will be on parade!
