Volunteer Roles We Need

From transport and event help to admin support and fundraising behind the scenes—we’ve got a role for every volunteer. Fill out our volunteer application below and we’ll be in touch to discuss how your time, talents, and heart can help dogs in need.

Transport Team

Help drive dogs to safety—from shelter pulls to vet appointments and foster integration. You must love good playlists and tolerate sloppy kisses & dog hair.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle capable of safely transporting dogs (crates and harnesses provided if needed).
  • Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, including those with limited leash experience or who may be nervous in new environments.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate pick-up/drop-off times and provide updates to the R.A.D.A.R. team.

Event Crew

Represent R.A.D.A.R. at community events, adoption drives, and fundraisers. You bring the energy—we’ll bring the dogs.

  • Outgoing and people-friendly, with the ability to answer questions about our mission, dogs, and how to get involved.
  • Comfortable working around dogs in public settings and helping to manage them safely during busy events.
  • Able to lift, set up, or assist with booth materials (tables, signage, merch, etc.) and represent R.A.D.A.R. professionally in the community.

Media & Marketing Support

Got skills in photography, video, social media, or writing? Help us tell the stories that save lives.

  • Experience with photography, videography, social media, or design (bonus points if you’re good with squirmy, blurry dogs!).
  • Strong writing or content creation skills to help tell our dogs’ stories and keep followers engaged.
  • Ability to stick to our brand voice while creating meaningful, mission-driven content across platforms.

Fundraising & Donation Support

From silent auctions to sponsorship outreach, fundraising is mission-critical. We’ll equip you with the tools you need to make a difference.

  • People skills are a must—whether you're speaking with potential sponsors, coordinating a raffle, or helping with donor follow-up.
  • Creative problem-solver who can brainstorm fundraising ideas, campaigns, or partnerships.
  • Passion for the mission, with the ability to share why R.A.D.A.R. matters in a compelling and authentic way.
